Kuril Islands

Most of the Kuril Islands are densely vegetated with dark coniferous forests, grasslands, and an alpine zone. The area is rich with beautiful bays and snow-capped volcanoes whose alpine grasslands and forests are home to a rich variety of wildlife, with huge bird colonies covering the numerous cliffs. The Kuril islands are an excellent destination for nature lovers and bird watchers.
